Baked Avocados with Bacon and Eggs

Avocado, bacon, and egg… what could go wrong? This easy breakfast, brunch, dinner, anytime recipe is going to leave your diners all cozy, happy and satisfied. Even if you are not an expert cook, this recipe is so simple you won’t be able to ruin it.

Getting started

Cut the avocado in halves and remove the pit. With a spoon, scrape out 1 or 2 tablespoons of the avocado flesh to make the hole a little bit bigger.

Preheat the oven to 350°F/175°C and while it’s warming up, carefully crack an egg into each avocado half and season it with salt and pepper.

Burma Spice Tip: crack the egg in a small bowl and then transfer it slowly in to the avocado.

Bake the avocado for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the egg reaches a consistency you like.

Take the avocados out of the oven and top them with the chopped bacon, parmesan cheese, and chives.
