Crispy Avocado – Healthy and Vegan

5 small avocados, peeled and sliced
¼ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp ground pepper
¼ tsp paprika
1 pinch of salt
¼ cup of almond flour
½ cup soymilk
2 tsp nutritional yeast

This crispy baked avocado recipe it’s really easy to make and between us, it has magical addictive properties. If you are looking for a healthy and vegan alternative for French fries, then this recipe will be in your top 10 vegan recipes. Why crispy baked avocado fries are healthy? Well, avocados are high in protein, vitamins, fiber and low in saturated fat. You will find that the main characters are soymilk, almond flour, paprika, garlic powder, and ground pepper.

Let’s get ready to make these vegan, gluten-free, oil-free crispy avocados.

  1. Preheat oven to 400 F.
  2. Divide the ingredients into 3 bowls.  One with garlic powder, ground pepper, paprika, nutritional yeast, and salt, another with soymilk, and one with almond flour.
  3. Coat each avocado slice in the soymilk.
  4. Dip the avocado slices in the dry mix (garlic powder, ground pepper, paprika, nutritional yeast, and salt)
  5. Sprinkle almond flour over each slice and press down lightly until the flour sticks.
  6. Put all the avocado slices on a baking tray and cook for 10 minutes on one side.
  7. With a spatula flip the slices until brown.
  8. Enjoy and consume immediately!
