2 whole Ceylon Cinnamon sticks - for garnish
Serves: 2 cocktails
This classic cocktail is one of the easiest to make. It is light and equally sweet and tangy. Hot Toddies are meant to be slow sippers, so they are a perfect fit for nightcaps or relaxed get-togethers.
Hot toddies are also known to be a great – and tasty- way to reduce cold symptoms; and if you are taking over-the counter-medications, just skip the whiskey and you are set to go.
The secret of this Hot Toddy recipe is our gourmet Mulling Spice. This delicious spice blend tastes just like the holidays; a special mix of aromatic compounds that pair perfectly with each other creating a warm, sweetly pungent, and slightly tangy taste.
Bring 1 1/2 cups of water infused with 1 tablespoon of mulling spice; let it simmer for 15 minutes and pour it to a mug.
Add 3 ounces of whiskey, 4 teaspoons of honey and 4 teaspoons of lemon juice.
Taste and adjust honey or lemon juice if needed
