Small Spicy BBQ “Ribs”

Featured Spices
12 oz extra firm tofu
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 cup spicy sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon cumin
1 teaspoon pepper
120 ml apple cider vinegar

Summer is characterized by amazing BBQ parties and these little vegan BBQ “ribs” made with tofu are going to be phenomenal. Even meat eaters will ask for more!

Getting started:

  1. Slice the tofu into 5 inch thick slices
  2. Marinade the tofu: Combine and mix garlic powder, paprika, cumin, pepper, and apple cider vinegar. Then add the tofu to the mix. Refrigerate and marinate for 2 hours.
  3. To grill: Heat the grill and coat it with olive oil. Place the marinated tofu and cook for 4 minutes.
  4. Flip: With a spatula flip the tofu and continue cooking. Tofu should be soft on the inside and crispy on the outside.
  5. Serve: Serve your BBQ “ribs” with your favorite spicy sauce and enjoy!
